This shed is awesome! I put it up in about 4 hours alone. That did not include the 3 hours it took me to make a plywood platform or the good hour and 10, yes 10, tubes of silicone caulk I used to seal it. (Overall time, 8 hours of labor).

I'm not one who generally uses instructions since I know instructions are not usually written by the person or people who actually designed the product. I used the provided instructions for a guide, they worked good enough. I did have to redo a couple steps, but it didn't bother me. Things like this are like a jigsaw puzzle, just have fun with it and you'll be OK.

Once you get the box near to where you're going to set up the shed, the parts are all lightweight and easy to move. After you figure out how a couple panels fit together, it's really simple. I have had one of these sheds for over five years. It has been just fine. I am NOT a handyman, and when putting it together the first time I cursed a bit, but then it all came together just fine. We live in San Diego and it has had years of sunshine beating on it. It still looks just fine and it is strong and does exactly what we ask of it. It stores many bikes, back-up water supplies, boat parts, etc.... and like I said, we now are buying a second one. The second one is for Additional storage, not to replace the original, but just because we like the look, size, quality, price, etc...

After reading the other reviews I decided this looked like the best shed for the money. Although the shed came with what seemed like a gazillion parts, the instructions were great and it did go together without any problems. In fact, instead of having to call for missing pieces like on most products, I appreciate that they included EXTRA pieces where the material joined up on the corners. I didn't buy the base but did end up building one. You'll definately need to have a base. We have strong winds so it has to be held down. It looks great.
